Chinese Legend of Zelda-based Police Film to Air May 5th

DaysideTV’s YouTube channel posted a trailer for their upcoming Legend of Zelda movie on April 25th, but it full movie will be featured on their channel as of tomorrow, May 5th. It will be set in Hong Kong, and Link is portrayed as a cop chasing down Ganondorf and his cronies. The 50-second-long trailer gave us a glimpse of Link, Zelda, Navi and possibly Ganondorf, who they call Ganon. It also features the Old Man from the original Legend of Zelda as Link’s superior. It makes reference to Link’s Triforce of Courage, the Triforce itself, and the oh-so famous line, “It’s dangerous to go alone.” While Link isn’t in his classic green tunic, he does have a green beanie and jacket, and that’s good enough.

Want to watch it for yourself? Go right ahead!

It won’t be feature-length, but the short film should be an interesting twist on the story of the wielders of the Triforce. And as always, be sure to leave us your thoughts in the comment section!
