Minecraft has long dominated the gaming world, though it had yet to appear on Nintendo’s track sheet. Well, Minecraft fans, your sorrows are over! As of December 17th, the game will be available for Wii U, according to this post on Mojang’s blog.
Minecraft will come with 6 of the most popular game packs when you buy the game via the Nintendo Eshop, with “a Festive mash-up included just in time for the holidays,” according to Mojang’s Owen Hill. There will be more, optional, DLC packs released in the future, although their price is unknown. What we do know is the game itself will cost $29.99, or the equivalent thereof, and will utilize the Gamepad to access off-screen playability.
